Remote Medical Records

Remote Medical Records provides a means for the doctor to take to the field the same powerful features of Medical Records in the office.

Prior to leaving the office, the doctor will download information on patients he or she expects to visit while away. These patients are marked in the VMS system with special codes and extracted for down loading. The patient examination is entered in the same manner it is entered in the office. In conjunction to the normal routine new patients may also be added to the laptop while in the field or existing patients updated.

When the doctor has concluded his or her field activities, the laptop is brought back to the office and the new information is uploaded into a main file. This file is then loaded into VMS using a compare function allowing you to accept new patient information or accepting changed information on existing patients, field by field. The billing & insurance processing is now ready for completion.

It's that simple! The same principles that apply to the office software apply to Remote Medical Records, only in an abbreviated form.
